                   A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS 
                   PERMIT FOR AN INSTITUTIONAL PLANNED UNIT 
                   DEVELOPMENT ON A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE 
                   500 AND 600 BLOCKS OF McCALLIE AVENUE, THE 500 
                   BLOCK OF OAK STREET, AND THE 600 BLOCK OF 
                   HOUSTON STREET, BEING ON THE NORTHEAST LINE OF 
                   McCALLIE AVENUE AT HOUSTON STREET AND AT DOUGLAS 
                   STREET, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND 
                   AS SHOWN ON PLAT ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART 
                   HEREOF BY REFERENCE.
                   
                                                       
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby granted a 
       Special Exceptions Permit for an Institutional Planned Unit 
       Development to be located in the 500 and 600 blocks of McCallie 
       Avenue, the 500 block of Oak Street and the 600 block of Houston 
       Street, being on the northeast line of McCallie Avenue at Houston 
       Street and at Douglas Street.
       
                 Tract 1: Lots 14 and 16, block H, Longs Addition, 
                 not recorded; being the property described as tract 
                 1 in deed book 4610, page 826, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 
                 145D-J-1, 2, 18, and 19.
                 
                 Tract 2: Part of lots 1, 2, and 3, Sheffield's  
                 Addition, as shown by plat of record in deed book 
                 V, volume 1, page 730, ROHC; being the property 
                 described in deed book 2352, page 157, ROHC, and 
                 part of the property for which no deed was located.  
                 Said parts of lots form one tract beginning at the 
                 intersection of the northeast line of McCallie 
                 Avenue with the southeast line of Douglas Street, 
                 fronting some 238 feet on McCallie Avenue, and 
                 extending northeast 200 feet between parallel lines 
                 and with the southeast line of Douglas Street.  Tax
